The Pantaleona Target is about 700 metres south east of the Animas/Del Norte Discovery, and like the targets at San Francisco and Sebastiana it lies in the same vein system as Animas/Del Norte. Little is known about previous mining activities at this target although there are several pits and adits along the structure. Nayarit has completed the first pass drill program over this target. Early results have traced mineralization over 180 metres along strike and is open to the east and to depth. Geologically this target looks very similar to the Animas/Del Norte Discovery, and thus the company is continuing exploration and drilling in the area. The vein has been traced for a further 1100 metres to the east from the present drilled area. Exploration in that area, including rock and soil sampling, is showing evidence that the upper levels of the epithermal system are still intact, thus any mineralization will be in the subsurface.
